Culture is like using a stick to draw on the beach

Some things are like drawing a line in the sand, it has to be done every day for it to be seen.

The same goes for culture in organisations.

Certain values and behaviours need to be practiced daily for them to truly become part of the organisation’s culture.

So, the next time you see your company’s values displayed in the cafeteria, along the corridor walls, or written in the policy documents, ask yourself:

Did I practice these values today?
