🌙The Boy and the Moon

A curious kid gazed up at the night sky and saw the moon for the very first time. The crescent shape of the moon filled his heart with joy and wonder, so much so that he couldn't bring himself to sleep that night. It was a sight he had never witnessed before and he was mesmerised by it completely…

As the nights passed by, the kid eagerly searched the sky for his beloved crescent moon. However, to his surprise, it had transformed into a different shape. Confusion and disappointment clouded his young mind.

How could something he once loved so dearly change its form and appear so unfamiliar?

With time his denial turned into acceptance. He started to appreciate the true beauty and essence of the moon, regardless of its shape. Then, one magical night, the moon revealed itself in its full glory. It became a radiant source of light, illuminating the darkness.

At that moment, the kid fell in love with the moon all over again. This time, it wasn't just a specific version he admired, but the moon as a whole.

Drawing a parallel to life, the story invites reflection.

  • Who do we admire in our Lives?

  • Is it a certain version of our Friend, Partner, Colleague, or Organisation?

  • And, most importantly, do we accept them as a whole or do we keep searching for that crescent moon?
