Step outside your comfort zone”

“Expand your boundaries to learn and grow in life”

You’ve probably heard these phrases before. But how can you really be sure you’re on the right track?

Here’s the secret: Fear, uncertainty, and doubt are signs of of being on the right path. These feelings indicate growth and learning. However, knowing how much is enough, requires just enough self awareness.

Push too far, and it doesn’t work in your favour- negative stress.

It is a range- you stay within it and acts as a catalyst to your learning process.

Imagine starting a new role where you’re learning an unfamiliar skill.

You feel nervous but excited to tackle your first big project. The challenge keeps you engaged and motivated.

But on the other hand, too much of uncertainty, the workload becomes overwhelming, and you start losing sleep, leading to burnout.

The trick is finding that sweet spot where you’re stretched but not breaking. That’s where real growth happens. And sometimes, fear does not subside and one must choose to do it afraid ;)

How do you recognise your “optimal stretch zone”?
